Craftmanship

The first dragon and phoenix jewellery was made from jade and it was founded in the tomb of Zen Hou Yi. This jewellery is made up of 16 sections, each with characteristics crafting, with total of 37 dragons, 7 phoenix and 10 snakes.

Dragon and phoenix jewellery not just from gold. Some are made from other materials like jade and stones.

Dragon and phoenix jewellery can be customized which it allow to have more varieties

Customised Jewellery can add with jades, diamonds or any stones. Some even can be made from white gold or rose gold.

At the beginning, dragon and phoenix jewelleries were hand made ,  so the jewelleries often only have 2D patterns.

But with the latest technologies like machines and laser technology, it can be made 3D with more shocking appearance.

However, it is not necessarily that the machine made golden jewelleries have the better quality. Machine crafted golden jewelleries are often more brittle than the hand-made one, meaning they will be more difficult to be reshaped after made. With the decreasing number of professional craftsmen in gold industry to hand craft the golden Dragon & Phoenix jewelleries, the price of hand-crafted Dragon & Phoenix jewelleries had became increasingly expensive.

Laser Technology

Laser engraving is a modern alternative for making one-off, custom or unique designs. Laser technology can be used when engraving metal pieces or adding inscriptions and detail to jewellery. The smallest of details can be created with a laser, due to the precision of the machinery, meaning that wording is clearly legible once engraved.

Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Computer-aided design (CAD) has become a key feature of bespoke jewellery design and manufacturing. This type of design uses computers to create and modify a design before it goes into production. It can generate precise 2D and 3D models, as well as technical illustrations.
